When closed, the ARYA blackout curtain turns day into night. Thanks to an interwoven black layer, it keeps out a lot of light. The ARYA night curtain is therefore often used in parents’ bedrooms or children’s rooms.
The heavy fabric is finely woven, has an elegant sheen and feels extremely high-quality to the touch. In addition, a weighting tape is incorporated at the bottom end of the curtain, which gives the blackout curtain an even more attractive shape.
It is available in the elegant colors brown, dark brown, grey, light beige and black.
The ARYA curtain fabric lasts approx. up to 85% of the light (felt even more), the darker the color is selected.
In any case, it makes sense to order a free fabric sample of the fabric you want and do the flashlight test at home. Simply hold a switched-on flashlight behind the fabric – and you can see how the fabric behaves when exposed to strong light. At the same time, you can see the color, quality and texture of the fabric for yourself.
The ARYA curtain fabric is ideal for use as privacy, light or sun protection. Combined with a white day curtain, it is a real eye-catcher in any room.
The blackout curtains are opaque from the inside and outside by day and by night. They can be used as decorative curtains to add a splash of color to the room and/or as functional curtains to keep out light and prying eyes.
The maximum curtain height is 276 cm.
At easyCurtain you can choose from the most popular types of sewing in Switzerland.
Each type of sewing has its own advantages.
Note: The fabric shown below is from the Day curtain YAVA.
Type of sewing "Flat":
Simple and affordable
You like it plain and simple.
- We sew on a curtain glider approx. every 10cm.
- We sew approx. 1.2 metres of fabric per metre of curtain (we do this automatically, so you don't have to do any calculations).
- "Flat" is the cheapest way to have your curtain sewn.
Type of sewing "Classic simple":
Simply classic
The Swiss classic par excellence.
- We sew a curtain pleat approx. every 10cm and attach a curtain glider to it.
- We sew approx. 1.5 metres of fabric per metre of curtain (we do this automatically, so you don't have to do any calculations).
- "Classic simple" is the perfect compromise between lots of fabric and a low price.
Type of sewing "Classic double":
With extra fabric
You like it opulent.
- We sew a double curtain pleat approx. every 10cm and attach a curtain glider to it.
- We sew approx. 2 metres of fabric per metre of curtain (we do this automatically, so you don't have to calculate anything).
- "Classic double" creates the most beautiful waves and is therefore definitely worth the extra price.
Simply determine the right curtain gliders
In Switzerland, 99.9% of MAXI curtain gliders are in use
MAXI glider
You need MAXI gliders if the slot in the curtain rail is approx. 6.2 to 6.6mm in size. This corresponds to approx. the width of four stacked 1-franc pieces.
MINI glider
You need MINI gliders if the slot in the curtain rail is approx. 3.6 to 4mm in size. This corresponds to approx. of the width when a 1-franc and a 2-franc piece are placed on top of each other.
Determining the curtain height and width is very simple.
